Early life

A Wilson sisters & Phillips were friends from either childhood, growing higher around southern California in the 1970's & 1980's. the iii shared a love of music & songwriting, & developed their have style of vocal harmonies. Eventually around 1989, it were signed to the record treat by using producer Glen Ballard and SBK Records.

Chart success

Wilson Phillips freed their debut album Wilson Phillips inside 1990. It shot to fame sustaining their debut only, a # One hit Hang In to On. the album was a massive hit, producing threesome first singles and selling 10 million copies worldwide.

It freed their watch-higher album Shadows & Weak around 1992. It was very much less successful, producing there are no top tenner singles & selling 1 million copies. Shortly when, a class action decided to stock split.

1992-2003 period

When you took a next decade, a class action went their separate ways. Chynnthe Phillips freed a solo album, Naked & Sacred witharound 1995, when the Wilson sisters freed a Christmas album in 1993 & an album A Wilsons inside 1997. Carnie besides went in to hikers her have television talk show, while Phillips marry to actor William Baldwin. The Greatest Hits album was freed inside 2000, although a class action did non officially reunite for this release.

Reunion

Wilson Phillips reunited inside 2004 to release California, an album of cover songs.
